Pwllheli
Project Overview:
This major residential development in Pwllheli comprises a mix of bungalows, houses, and apartments designed to deliver high-quality, modern homes. Phase 1 of the scheme includes 14 properties and 30 apartments.
We were appointed at an early stage to support the delivery of compliant and carefully coordinated fire suppression systems, ensuring life safety requirements were fully integrated into the build programme.
Scope of Work:
-
12 Bungalows – 2 Bed, 3 Person
-
2 Houses – 4 Bed, 6 Person
-
30 Apartments
-
26 × 1-bedroom
-
4 × 2-bedroom
-
Our Role:
Our team is responsible for the design coordination, installation planning, and delivery of fire suppression systems across the development. Early involvement has allowed us to work closely with the client and site team to ensure:
-
Fire suppression requirements are fully aligned with the construction programme
-
Drawings are coordinated with architectural and M&E layouts
-
On-site requirements are clearly communicated ahead of installation
-
Systems are installed efficiently with minimal disruption to other trades
-
Compliance and quality are maintained across all property types
Challenges & Solutions:
With a mixed-use residential layout and multiple property types, careful planning was required to ensure consistency while accommodating different building forms.
By engaging early and maintaining regular communication with the site team, we were able to:
-
Identify potential coordination issues before installation
-
Phase works effectively alongside other trades
-
Maintain progress despite a busy site environment
Current Status
Works are underway on site, with Phase 1 progressing in line with programme. Further phases will continue as the wider development moves forward.
