Domestic Development – Mold

Project overview

Argoed View is a large-scale residential development located in Mold, Flintshire, comprising 90 dwellings across a mix of house types. We were appointed to deliver fire suppression mist and sprinkler systems to support the project’s fire safety and compliance requirements. The development has progressed through multiple construction phases, requiring careful coordination with the main contractor and site teams to align with programme demands.

Project Scope

• 90 residential dwellings

• Fire suppression mist and sprinkler systems

• Phased installation across multiple plot types

• Full testing, commissioning, and certification

Our Role

Our involvement covered the full lifecycle of the fire suppression works, including:

• Early-stage coordination with drawings and specifications

• Confirming and communicating site requirements ahead of installation

• First fix installation in line with build sequencing

• Second fix works as plots approached completion

• System testing, commissioning, and handover documentation

Our team worked closely with site management to maintain consistency and quality across a high-volume residential scheme.

Challenges & Solutions

On a development of this size, maintaining programme certainty and avoiding abortive visits was critical.

Through structured planning and clear communication, we were able to:

• • Coordinate installations efficiently across multiple phases

  • Adapt to changing site conditions without impacting quality

  • Support the client’s delivery programme through flexible scheduling

Outcome

This project highlights our ability to successfully deliver fire suppression systems on large residential developments, managing volume, complexity, and programme demands while maintaining high standards of compliance and customer service.
