Project overview

QSD UK Ltd was appointed by Lovell Homes to deliver the residential fire protection systems at the Bryn Castell development in Mold, Flintshire.

The development consists of a collection of high-quality new-build homes designed to provide modern, energy-efficient living for families in North Wales. Working alongside the principal contractor, QSD provided the design, installation, testing and commissioning of compliant residential fire sprinkler and water mist systems across the development.

The Challenge

As with many modern housing developments, fire safety requirements needed to be integrated seamlessly into the construction programme while maintaining the aesthetics and functionality expected within contemporary homes.

The project required close coordination with site management and other trades to ensure systems were installed efficiently during the construction process, whilst meeting the requirements of Building Regulations and relevant fire safety standards.
